Mamanostra Sauces and Pasta

I did a quick logo treatment for a Christmas gift of sauce and pasta my wife made from scratch for some clients of hers when she was a nanny. The name is a play on La Cosa Nostra from the Godfather II Senate hearings scenes. It is in reference to a group of women my wife hung out with when our children were younger. They were a fun bunch of gals that would hang out together after the elementary school morning drop-off and then we’d get together as families in the evenings, on weekends and holidays. I even lifted the “I’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse” from Godfather I and put a culinary spin on it with “She’ll make you a sauce you can’t refuse”. The rest, as they say in the business, is history!
